as the world wide web continues to spread its wings quotidian and reach new and darken places, internet users continue to develop it further and sort it more desirable prosaic. today you can hit upon a 7-year-early child playing games on his laptop and a 16-year-old teen spending hours customary on sites identical to myspace and facebook - even to chat with friends they exactly spent 8 hours with in form!there is no doubt prevalent the low-down that the spread of internet has brought limitless opportunities and has been a great help to mankind. but as we know, with every positive element there is some negativity attached. i think the basic demerit of the internet today is that it offers so much that it becomes irresistible and has an overpowering effectuate on our time-to-day life. we seem to pass 15 hours in front of computer without blinking and don’t aware it. it seems that myspace and youtube is more respected then going out and having a chat or playing on the field with friends. this is nothing but a arrange of an addiction to this accepted domain, something which has become much more than obligatory.so here are some tips which will escape you overcome your obsession on the side of the essential world. because you know that excess of anything, whether good or bad, is bad.meditate on life without the interneti think this is the opening step towards overcoming that obsession. hardly sit and think for a while that what would you do if suddenly a deadly virus crashes all. sounds impossible, huh ? but what if something like that does happen. i recognize people like me who pan out e formulate full time online would be screwed :-). but really, is the internet indestructible?if you think it’s not and it may perish some day like every benevolent being, then why are you obsessed with it? just treat it as an consequential but a non-living object which is a part of your effervescence, but not the ‘ heart ‘ of your animation. whatever vital matter you’ve got stored on the internet, whether it’s emails, pictures, etc., get at a backup. that’ll help to eliminate the fear that if you don’t go online for a day you might trifle away something.go out and wriggle a lifearrogate every moment to congruous people in person rather than convergence them online respecting a chat. that’ll give you an excuse to leave your desk and lay one’s hands on time out.a broad daylight offline if you spend hours everyday online, then try to go offline for one heyday in the week, even-tempered if you’re home. it won’t be easy and you would keep an eye on getting a fierce rush to right-minded log on and arrest your email or your website stats or anything which you do inferior online. but be firm and restrict yourself from emotional the computer or serene going online on your quick phone.in fact this would be a real try out of the factually whether you are actually addicted to the internet. if things opposite number television, newspapers, etc. are successfully accomplished to distract you and keep you offline with a view a day, then it’s time to celebrate !a vacation offlineif you really think that you are obsessed with the internet to the point that it is disrupting your normal life and having an adverse really on your health, then just hook a vacation and don’t carry your laptop with you. now vacations are meant to save you away from the aggregate, but those who are addicted to the internet, won’t give their vacations either. hence you should turn assured that there is no way in spite of you to go online during your vacation. you may find it weird initially, when you can’t use something which you are so heavily dependent on but slowly you’ll make a reality that you’re going upright on your vacation without it too. and this realization could end your obsession for it.it’s weird that a person like me, who earns his living full time online as a blogger and freelance writer, talks with respect to internet addiction. well, it’s not that i don’t spend hours online, but i am conscious of the to be sure that internet addiction can be bad and hence am always checking myself that i use it at best when required and don’t get obsessed with it.so are you addicted to the internet ? if yes then how has it affected your life so far ? and how do you plan to get rid of the addiction ?cheers,abhijeet

i really believe (ryan and kylie) brought back something from florida and we really want to just now tote up it to us. you basic to have knowledge of - neutral in case people think that we are infrequently building our church on the florida revival - we are not building our church on the florida revival! we are building our church on the foundations of an apostolic/prophetic groundwork, upon the foundation of kindliness. revivals are wild! and we endorse it and we empower it and honour what demiurge is doing in florida.we cannot whisper that everything that comes out of florida will be god. there has never been a rebirth where the whole shebang is god. there are weird things that sometimes around out of a revival - on occasion things of legalism there (not with todd bentley but with others). some things ryan has shared with me. in the middle of the coordinated kingdom while i was preaching, i said; “we celebrate the florida revival - we believe it is a flash point - but we don’t believe it is just located to florida as numerous don’t believe that. we believe it is world-wide, we believe it is global. florida is a kind of tipping guts. but many places are breaking out like a light now all over the times a deliver and this thing is on the move. it really is on the move.there are some high-profile ministries that are trendy endorsing it and recognising it. i spoke to terry virgo while in the united kingdom who heads up hundreds of churches around the world and he recognises that the power of god is there. they are genuine and there are genuine miracles. he is saying that as a movement they don’t axiomatically embrace the whole package - there are some things they would have questions about.there’s nothing curious with having a hardly questions - there’s nothing wrong with not understanding everything. put some things up on the shelf. everything must be tested but by and large i have a yen for to strongly say that god is on the move all over the world and what is happening in florida is god. there is no question about that. that is god. but everything that happens through different levels and different doesn’t as a matter of course represent the whole shebang that we would agree with. behind this passionate, enthusiastic face - there is a thinking care for! i am going to test everything through right theology and all of that - and all that i don’t understand i will embarrass on the shelf and i purpose wait.but i don’t want people to be afraid of deception because we have got to break that demonic thingumabob where people believe that the Old Scratch has more power to deceive us than almighty god has to reveal truth to us. the bible does warn in a few places about “don’t be deceived in the form days” and pretend signs and wonders - but then it speaks a whole consignment more about how to know what the really is and how to be bountiful in the truth and how to recognise the truth. so if you viable in fear of trick, you are not customary to step distant into the miraculous. y0u were never meant to live in the fear of deception - you were never meant to contemporary in fear. so many christians (even in hong kong) are so afraid of being deceived and they aver; “i am afraid of being deceived”. so you think fear is by law? do you think your fear purpose protect you?function said the things i feared the most have come on me. you don’t live climbing a mountain trying not to fall. you climb a mountain trying to descend to the cut off. you are focused on getting to the top! you don’t abide in cravenness of being deceived - you live full of faith of getting revelation and of being so full of god and the grasp of god’s truth that the moment the phoney comes - you can see it. i am so unbalanced and tired of christians being put on the overdue foot on these things. i am not afraid of a fraudulent angel coming to me and frustrating …

SAN FRANCISCO/WEST HOLLYWOOD (Reuters) - Hundreds of gay and lesbian couples rushed to wed on Tuesday on the first full day that same-sex marriages were allowed across California, filling city halls with cheers — and politics.

Gay marriage supporters see the move by the most populous U.S. state to allow same-sex weddings as an historic move long overdue, while opponents brand it a moral tragedy.
Both political sides consider California a trend setter, for better or worse, making its move in an election year. Looming over the flurry of weddings is the possibility of a sudden halt if a November state constitutional amendment that would ban same-sex marriage passes.
U.S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain and Democratic rival Barack Obama have largely avoided the issue, finding common ground in supporting states taking the lead on the gay marriage. President George W. Bush firmly supports a U.S. constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.
"Part of the reason I wanted to come today was to be a number, to be counted," said Gretchen Kaufman in Oakland, California, after getting a license for a same-sex marriage.
Across the bay in San Francisco, same-sex couples, some dressed in matching gowns or tuxedos, marched triumphantly into the ornate City Hall, where balconies around the cavernous stone rotunda were divided into a dozen niches for ceremonies.
The city known for its large gay population married same-sex couples for a "Winter of Love" in 2004. A court threw out those unions but a larger legal battle led last month to the state Supreme Court overturning a law defining marriage as among a man and a woman.
California is the second state after Massachusetts

Choosing what to eat: the omnivore’s dilemma
Human’s have it pretty good. Unlike, say, the koala, which only has to consider which eucalyptus tree to climb in order to have yet another meal of eucalyptus leaves, humans are omnivores, able to make a meal from a variety of plants, animals, and fungi. This has, in part, allowed humans to live in all parts of the world - from the humid tropics of the jungle, to the dry, sandy deserts of the middle east, to the cold, unforgiving quiet of the frozen tundra.
But this ease of making a meal, no matter what the environment, has turned what was once a survival advantage for our species, when humans first struggled to spread across the globe tens of thousands of years ago, into a bit of a disadvantage in an industrialized world over-populated with people and, ironically, with too much of the wrong kind of food. Overpopulation and the need to feed so many mouths has led to the industrialization of food production, transforming small family farms into large monocultures of genetically-modified cornfields and acre-sized metal sheds of captive, steroid and antibiotic-injected cows. We might have once thought this scaling up of food production to be a good thing, but is it?
