Podcasting and Videocasting Workshop - SBM Unleashed
by Jackie Baker
podcasting and videocasting workshopwith sage lewisthe outset question asked by the audience to levitra kaufen kick-off sage’s conference was “does the status of the video matter?” “great matter. let’s just start there,” sage says. “if you seek a videographer … he’ll say heck yeah!” but in his experience and after polling his audience, sage has found that audio quality is most important to his viewers, while having a high quality picture is secondary.a video that’s a little less than perfect also makes businesses have all the hallmarks a little more human, a little more down to earth. the power of video is that it breaks that glass bar between businesses and consumers, allowing them to connect on a personal level. a specific of sage’s favorite patient studies is the twittering of zappo’s ceo tony. and the reason he’s so popular is because he’s being transparent and showing his personality — and people connect with that.there is a craving for connection in society straighten up now. the big companies have separated from the public, and sage says that clients and consumers don’t want to be aware things fancy and glossed onto. it makes people feel like there is a separation that can’t be bridged.pre-eminent is the enemy of good satisfactorily. a lot of people say “that’s not good satisfactorily. that’s not through,” and then nothing gets done. video is such an opportunity in the course of so many different industries. and it doesn’t have to be perfect. sage advocates video because they lift visitors rivet with you in a personal way. not to mention the accomplishment that we love tv, we love movies, we love video. hornbook isn’t going away, but video is definitely growing and becoming a huge market.we need to give people contentedness in any started that they want it.video equipmentthe first thing you need to do in selecting equipment is asking what your budget is and what your goals are. if you are looking to keep it under $200, he highly recommends the flip video camera. it is small, affordable, and great sensible and picture importance in spite of the internet. it has a usb port that “flips” out and allows you to glue directly to your laptop, assemble the video, and upload it to youtube and other video sharing sites … all from the camera.if you are looking to get something a little nicer, just do your research. sage does all of his research on amazon because they’ve got good prices and helpful reviews. he does recommend ensuring thatyou buy a camera with a port to off in an external microphone.on youtube you sooner a be wearing two options for capturing video: optimizing your youtube videosthe method in which videos are currently indexed is very simplistic, and will in all likelihood get more labyrinthine over time. right now, it’s jolly important to write descriptive, keyword outlandish titles, descriptions, and tags - because tags do still occurrence by reason of video. when tagging, do not exploit commas (youtube doesn’t recognize them); just withdraw a space between each word. equal major forward is that your words can be combined in all remarkable ways to be to the point for a larger variety of searches. if you are just starting out especially, do optimize for your designation and blog or website. if you impecuniousness your video viewers to come distant to your website, lead your youtube description with your url. that advancing, they don’t include to click to view the entire statement before they’ll see it and be encouraged to click. the two questions sage eternally gets are how important is the quality (remember, “perfect is the opponent of good enough”) and how long should my videos be? he says that as long as the videos are providing good information or else interesting viewers, it doesn’t matter how long they are. youtube limits videos to 10 minutes, so obviously it’s good to stay under that. just similarly to with any epitome of essence, you want to on the other hand provide as much as your audience needs or wants.video commentingleave comments on! it’s frustrating for users when a business tries to engage in social sites take a shine to youtube, but then turn comments off. these sites aren’t just for uploading video, they are for connecting and engaging with other people, which happens through discussion. it could backfire if you don’t allow comments on your business videos. you can eliminate comments if there is a good object (which doesn’t include having your feelings hurt).other video servicessage has tried construction his video community on other services such as google video, but none of them are anywhere near as conspicuous as youtube. they have don’t the same kind of investe …

Bill Clinton continued to make the rounds of the talk shows Tuesday, following a notable night with David Letterman Monday with a return appearance to “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” Tuesday.
He seemed a little grumpier Tuesday, sitting across the desk viagra kaufen from Stewart, often perching his head on his first when he wasn’t reaching out and touching the host’s arm to make a point.
His rap on the economic crisis seemed a little more succinct this time out. There were a few cuts in the interview for time (this is a famously locacious dude). But Clinton directly addressed criticism of his Letterman appearance that he wasn’t as enthusiastic an Obama supporter as he might have been.
Clinton did pause after Stewart suggested he’d crush both candidates if he got into the race now before saying, “the most important thing is Barack Obama is going to win” as they were going to commercial.
Stewart brought up the conundrum for the Clintons on whether they’ll ever show enough love to Obama to show that they endorse him fully.
“You may have to get a tattoo or some sort of permanent bumper sticker,” Stewart said.

“Hillary has already done more for Sen. Obama than all the runners up in the Democratic nominating process in the last 40 years combined,” Clinton said.
“Jerk!” Stewart added (to a guy in the audience who had apparently questioned whether Clinton had enrorsed the nominee enough on Letterman).
“No ‘Jerk,’ the former president said. “But let’s get real here. The purpose of this election is to win. We need to do what get’s votes.”

Entirely Up to You, Darling
On the line lyrics
From The Telegraph:
“Luvvie” is a tired old word yet it conjures a stereotype that most of us recognise, one that Lord Attenborough fits to perfection. There was a time when no showbusiness award ceremony was complete without the climactic appearance of “Dickie”, envelope in hand, eyes glistening behind his spectacles, declaiming a speech that commemorated the achievements of Larry Olivier or little Johnny Mills.
To an extent, this autobiography upholds the public image. Its title is a pure exhalation of luvviedom - so much so that one suspects irony - and within its pages are eulogies to the “new dawn” heralded by Tony Blair (like all luvvies, “Dickie” is a lifelong Labour supporter who believes that true passion for the arts cannot thrive within a Tory breast); to Princess Diana, whom Attenborough coached in public speaking and adored for her gift of “empathy”; to Nelson Mandela and, in muted form, to Mandela’s disgraced ex-wife Winnie (her “violent and sadistic streak”, he writes, was “triggered” by time spent in solitary confinement).

There are also several references to being “reduced to tears” by the generosity of colleagues.
Yet Entirely Up to You, Darling ought really to lay the luvvie joke to rest. For levitra de one thing, Attenborough loathes being called “Dickie”.

McCain fans hit Obama with Hollywood whupping stick
If you thought it was a stretch for John McCain sympathizers to claim that Barack Obama had insulted Sarah Palin by saying that McCain’s efforts to brand himself an agent of change was like putting lipstick on a pig, then you’ll really be astounded to discover that Obama is now being blamed for all the dumb and naive things Hollywood celebrities said last week at the Toronto Film Festival.

New York Post critic-blogger Kyle Smith had a field day today making fun of anyone who seemed to prefer Obama to McCain, deriding “The Secret Life of Bees” director Gina Prince-Bythewood for hoping her film might help Obama get elected, poking fun at actress Keira Knightley for praising Michele Obama for her “wonderful features” instead of her personal accomplishments and seeming genuinely surprised that Spike Lee showed up in Toronto wearing a T-shirt with a picture of Obama on it.
Palin won’t cooperate with ‘tainted’ probe
It’s a tried and true conservative tactic — heap scorn on the dimwitted Hollywood types who blindly support (fill-in-the-blank Democratic candidate). But even by past conservative standards, this new line of attack seems a stretch, especially when Smith tried to draw a parallel between Obama and Che Guevera, claiming that the Steven Soderbergh “Che” biopic that screened in Toronto was, like Obama’s campaign, about “fairness, fighting for the underclass, health care and the need to ‘change the economy in a fundamental way’ (in Obama’s words on David Letterman’s show last week”).
Smith goes out of his way to ridicule “Che” as a classic clueless liberal love letter to a cold-blooded revolutionary. I can’t say he’s entirely wrong about that, but it feels like cheap political trickery to claim that there’s any connection between “Che’s” revolutionary excesses and Obama’s cautious, incremental desire for change. Smith ends his piece by quoting a cornball snatch of dialogue from the movie — “We have made mistakes” — adding, “Actually, that’s a difference between two men who appear on a lot of T-shirts: One of them was able to acknowledge his shortcomings.” It’s Smith’s nod, nod, wink, wink way of saying: Obama is even more ideologically rigid than Guevara.
Maybe Smith should’ve spent a little time talking to some rank-and-file Canadians, who live in a country that has been a staunch American ally but has the value of enjoying a little distance from our presidential battles. When I was in Toronto last week, I found levitra myself talking to a young Canadian who was driving a cab during the day while going to computer programming school at night. He didn’t care what Knightley had to say about Michele Obama — he just wanted to know if Knightley had a boyfriend. But he did ask me one serious political question: “If you Americans are so tired of fighting a horrible, bloody war in Iraq,” he said, genuinely puzzled, “why would you want to elect someone who promises to fight the war for 50 more years, when you could be spending all the money you’re using for your soldiers on all your problems at home?”
I’m betting even the silliest achat cialis Hollywood celebrity would realize that’s a pretty darn good question.

NBC’s Mitchell aired Swift’s accusation that Obama compared Palin to a pig, but not her backtrack the next day
On the September 10 broadcast of NBC’s Nightly News, chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell reported the assertion the day before by former acting Massachusetts Gov. Jane Swift that when Sen. Barack Obama said at a rally that “[y]ou can put lipstick on a pig; it’s still a pig,” he made “disgraceful comments comparing our vice-presidential nominee, Governor [Sarah] Palin, to a pig.” However, Mitchell did not report that earlier on September 10 on NBC’s sister channel, when MSNBC host Norah O’Donnell asked Swift why she was “so sure that [Obama's "lipstick on a pig" remark] was aimed at Governor Palin,” Swift admitted, “I can’t know if it was aimed at Governor Palin.”
Later in the MSNBC interview, O’Donnell asked Swift, a national member of McCain’s recently announced “Palin Truth Squad,” to explain the apparent contradiction viagra between her admission that she “can’t know” whether Obama’s remark was about Palin and her demand that Obama apologize. Swift replied, “[W]hat I am saying is that I took offense cialis. I think people in the crowd took offense, and, listen, I used to be in — running in politics, and often times, you’re responsible for your words even if they’re misconstrued. And so I’m not sure what’s difficult about saying, you know, ‘Maybe I didn’t choose my words closely enough there.’ ” She continued, “I understand — I think it’s reasonable for people to have made the assumption that he was directing those comments at Governor Palin, and that — it’s just — there’s no place for that.”
From the 3 p.m. ET hour of MSNBC Live on September 10:
O’DONNELL: You were the first out of the box last night from the McCain campaign to say that Obama should apologize to Governor Palin. Why are you demanding an apology?
SWIFT: Well, I thought it was a remark that I took offense at. I think it was clear that the folks in the audience, the partisan crowd that Senator Obama was talking to, thought it was a nice dig at our vice-presidential candidate. And the truth is, if we want to raise the level of discourse that I take Senator Obama at his word and get back to talking about issues, then there’s no place for these kinds of things to be said.
You know, his first comment was about lipstick, and his second comment was about a rotting, old fish, and so, you know, he certainly for someone with a strong grasp of the English language — it would be remarkable that he chose so badly anecdotes that people like me could take offense at and could misconstrue.

O’DONNELL: Governor, as you know, that phrase, “lipstick on a pig,” is a common expression. Why are you so sure that it was aimed at Governor Palin?
SWIFT: Well, listen, I can’t know if it was aimed at Governor Palin, although I think that Senator Obama has a great grasp of the English language. But I think that everybody in that crowd, certainly the press that was there and the reporting, all very quickly realized that in the last two weeks, we’ve heard way too much about lipstick and issues having to do with Governor Palin’s gender, and so I am surprised that Senator Obama wouldn’t understand why many people would think that was where he was directing his remarks.
And really, there’s a very easy way to make it go away: to just say, “That’s not what I intended, and I’m sorry if I offended some people,” which I think he did.
O’DONNELL: I mean, as you know, John McCain used that phrase himself — “lipstick on a pig” — during the primaries to describe Hillary Clinton’s health-care plan. So at that time, was McCain — if you take the way you’re interpreting it, was McCain calling Hillary Clinton a pig?
SWIFT: No. I think that the difference is, he was very clearly talking about a policy proposal, and I just listened again to the clip that I think instructively you played. And while Barack Obama began talking about policy, he was very clearly talking about the people who are running for president and vice president on the Republican ticket.
He had a “but,” which is a clause, in there, and I — you know, I think it was different, and I think more importantly, a lot of people who heard it took it differently.
O’DONNELL: I just want to challenge you on this, because you, am I correct, are not willing to say that this was a sexist remark, even though you’re calling on Obama to apologize. And when I just asked you –
SWIFT: I — I’m –
O’DONNELL: — how did you know for sure she was — that he was referring to Governor Palin, you said, “I can’t know for sure.” So if you can’t know for sure, how then can you demand someone apologize? And I raise those questions because I wonder, is the McCain campaign just playing politics?
SWIFT: Well, first of all, we’re in a political campaign, so I’m not sure I completely und …

A Little Autumn Whimsy……

my latest vintage ceiling tin was created by request, for a very special perspicacity but more on that in the month of oct.

i was asked to create a piece that not only said “autumn” but had a touch of halloween to it as well. i had a couple of ideas in mind for this piece but quickly narrowed it down moment i knew the sense of foreboding the tin needed to convey. i in actuality wanted this poem to be all about whimsy, hence the name “autumn whimsy” anyway, with that in reproach, i knew i had to use my little chickadee friend and this time, i decided that he should be perched on a lovely orange pumpkin. for the benefit of a pinch of whimsy, i added a diminutive witch’s hat to his head.

as a replacement acheter cialis for the background i wanted to create almost a grainy effect if i possibly could so i tried finished a scarcely any different techniques to see if i could achieve that conception.
Ufc 88 video

the leaves i wanted to make almost foil like in appearance, virtually as if they are made of delicate colored foil that could crumble in your hand if you are not finicky.

the autumn twigs were painted in on anyone of the very form steps and i concoct, connect the dots of this exercise damned well.
